The Sitters is a tabletop role-playing game for 2 to 5 players of all ages.
At the heart of Mother-Forest live the Sitters. They are forest spirits connected to one another by a collective consciousness. They roam Mother-Forest, marvelling at its poetry and the beauty of the place and its inhabitants. They are charged with protecting Mother-Forest from all that threatens it: The Foulness, The Nothingness, Natural Disasters or the irrational acts of Humans. And sometimes, their curiosity leads them to stray a little off the beaten track.
With a mechanic that encourages shared storytelling, The Sitters lets you play short games or campaign games in which adventure blends with the poetry of nature.
The sitters, as a ttprg about nature spirits protecting a forest, is about the cycle of life and death. It could be cruel, poetic, fun, epic or all at the same time.

FIVE STARS!!! I LOVE IT!!! This is an absolutely gorgeous game - whimsical and story-focused it will appeal to anyone who loves the magic and mystery of the natural world. Being family-friendly is a beautiful bonus and I can well imagine groups of friends and families creating beautiful stories and memories together as their nature spirit characters strive to protect mother forest. A real little gem of a game!
A new game from Guillaume Jentey is always worth a look! Even more when it's about something as cool as playing the role of Sitters, who protect a forest from harmful outside influences, be they magical or human... It's really a pretty sweet game, which also has a complex, even strategic, mechanical part, and allows darker things to appear if we feel like it. And when the game is superbly illustrated and designed by Willy Cabourdin, there's no reason not to take a look...
