Sonja & Conan vs the Ninjas is a roleplaying game for 3 to 5 players (14 year old and up).
Together, with simple rules and little to no preparation, you’ll create epic, colorful stories worthy of the Pulp magazines of yore and the Z movies of the 1990s.
Grab a simple six-sided die, a pen and a few post-it notes, crank your Red Sonja
or Conan soundtracks up to eleven, unplug your brains and play ! Whether you impersonate the brave
Barbarian or the evil Ninjas, face your friends in battle and write your own legend playing breathtaking action scenes, hard-hitting dialogue scenes and colorful exposition scenes.
This booklet contains "plug and play" rules, an extended play example, the Barbarian character sheet, Ninja flashcards and play aids for you to print.

S&CvsTN is the prefect overblown pulp silliness for a 45-60min of play. Ideal for when waiting for someone else to show up or when another game is cancelled. Our game had Crunch the Barbarian wading through the Bullingdon Ninjas and their blonde-haired leader Bo-Jo-Oh-No, a mission given by the undead floating zombie-head of the assassinated Sun King, and a serpent born of the ruined labyrinth at the centre of the world (it wasn't ruined to start with, but then Crunch happened). All told, it felt like a mix of early kung fu cinema with Hawk the Slayer. Keep in mind you will need to either print out the Barbarian and Ninja cards or copy them some other way.
Wow this game is so great! I love the crisp layout and the artwork, it flows really well and it’s very easy to learn and master!

Fantastic game! It really emulates the Barbarian Heroe of Sword and Sorcery's B movies with such talent! Rules are super thin, preparation is 2 minutes and fun is immediate! Epic with lot of laughs!
This is an excellent little game, as well-crafted as it is fun! But don't be fooled by its simple mechanics and its goofy "number of words allowed" mechanics: it's also a very thoughtful homage to the genre it pastiches with talent!
